Here I am all wrapped up like a Lola burrito. B thinks it is funny to wrap me up like this and hold me like a baby. I recently discovered that if I just go along with it and don't fight back he loses interest and lets me go. :)

Wednesday

I am so bored today. I really wish Friday would hurry up and get here so I could play with my humans when they get off of work. I hear I am going camping this weekend and supposedly that is a fun thing. I am not sure what "camping" involves but we shall see. I hope it means I get a lot of treats and get my belly rubbed. I REALLY hope it does not involve me wearing clothing. I hate when C puts me in those dorky shirts.

Guess I will log in to one of my internet classes and do some work before C gets home. I have 2 postings due in my Interpersonal Communications class. Ta Ta for now.

I got mail!

I got my very first package in the mail, it was so exciting! C took me with her to check the mail and in it was a box for ME! It came all the way from B's mom F in Tucson. C won't let me use scissors so I tried to be patient while she cut the tape off but she was taking too long and I could smell something yummy inside so I helped rip it open. Initially I thought the paper on the box was the treat and I went crazy chewing it and rolling on it then C took out the stuff in the box and there were treats for ME! OMG, I was so excited! She only gave me one of the green dental bones and I was a little upset since they were addressed to me and I should be allowed to eat them all right then if I wanted, but later she gave me one of the chicken flavored ones and I was happy. That was such a cool surprise!

So Rude

I am so mad at C right now. She is totally my BFF but she really pissed me off today. We were coming back from our walk tonight and you can imagine my excitement when I found part of the dead bird I tried to eat yesterday! I brought it inside my house, nibbled on it for a while and when C started walking toward me I thought I would share it with her (like a good BFF would). Then, ugh I am just so mad right now, she THREW IT AWAY! She was all "Ewwww Lola that is so gross." Whatever, that is the last time I share my super-finds with her again.

AZ Summer

My first summer in Arizona has me wondering, will this heat EVER end? I have to wait until 9:00 at night just to take my humans on their walk and even then it is still 100+ degrees outside. I am not a happy camper.

Everyone keeps telling me "But it's a dry heat." Dry heat my ass! Walking outside is like stepping into an oven. Now that our pool is done in the complex, I may have to go swim some laps during the day just to cool off.

Monday

I am soooo glad it is Monday. I really needed a little break from my humans, I love them but they were starting to get on my nerves.

On Saturday C kept moving that big monster around on the carpets that makes all of that noise and it scared the crap out of me, literally. I had an accident on the rug and then I was all embarrassed. I hate that monster, he eats all of the dirt off of the floor and I worry he is going to eat me! I really wish C would get rid of that monster altogether.

Then I was mad at B all weekend because he went to Ajo without me. He knows how much I love Ajo.

I think they knew I wasn't speaking to them because they were being overly nice to me on Sunday, giving me eggs and rubbing my belly. I am hoping that I will learn how to communicate my needs after I take my online "Interpersonal Communication" class this Fall.

Super Lola!

This is one of my new tricks! Well, I actually know a lot of tricks but I only let my humans in on a few of them. They were good to me this weekend so I let them "teach" me this new one where I jump up and grab my toy.
